1st Dodge anything I have ever own. Purchased used 05 w/17,000 miles. The only negitive I have heard is the Transmission. I hear that I need a cooler. I might have one but I do not know what they look like or where one might be.
I have three small lables on my truck one each behind the back doors and one on the tailgate that read "TEXAS TRAILAR TOW". Is this something from Dodge? I can't find any Info on the net about it being a company. I saw one other truck with the same lables.
I am going to New Mexico next week. Is there any prep. I need before the trip. I live just north of Fort Worth.
Any help or sugestions are welcome.

 

Welcome to DTR! Congrats on your new (to you) Dodge Cummins!

You don't NEED anything but a full set of gauges....Tranny temp, Exhaust Gas Temp, Boost pressure, and Fuel Pressure.

Just start reading all the threads here and you will be alot more knowledgeable about your truck than you ever thought possible. Then you will start spending all of your hard earned money on modifications and all your spare time on this board.
