Would some of you that know some key words or phrases, pass along that much appreciated knowledge to the rest of us morons.... I know 12 valve stuff, but, MAN, this is DEFINETLY a new world for me............and I bet others too. cp3? map? -- You get the idea.

Thanks!!!

(Maybe we can create a sticky up above too..)

CP3 is the High pressure fuel pump to the comman fuel rail.
FCA is the Fuel Control acutator on the CP3. (Electrical portion)
LP is the low pressure lift pump.
Map sensor reads boost (barametric pressure in intake)
Rail pressure sensor reads the pressure in the CR(Comman rail)
48re and 47re are the 4 speed automatic trannies (47re in SO and some early 03' trucks) 48re in the HO trucks to current.
NV5600 is the 6 speed manual tranny in 03' HO, 04, 04.5, 05 MY(Mid year)
G56 is the 6 speed manual tranny in late 05', 06', and early 07' trucks

Hope this helps. These are just some off the top of my head. others will have more.
