need tie rod ends for upgraded steering linkage???

I had just ordered an XRF tie rod end kit and ball joint kit from www.thetireclub.com, unfortunately the tie rod end kit is for the old steering linkage, and I have the newer upgraded steering linkage, but I can't find tie rod ends for it.

So if anyone knows where I can get greasable tie rod ends for the newer upgraded steering linkage please let me know.

Thanks!!

Would a newer model year dodge have the same steering linkage as the upgrade that I have, so then I can look for parts that would fit a newer model year?

I can't be the only one that has had this problem.

The newer linkage started in 08. So I would say tie rods for an 08 and up would work.

Found out yesterday from Kurt at www.thetireclub.com that I can switch back to the old style using the XRF parts, this is what i'm going to do, in hopes that the XRF being better quality than Mopar will last much longer than what Mopar currently has lasted, and they are serviceable tie rod ends so that should also help lifespan of the parts. I am just happy to be rid of Mopar parts finally.

Kris55, I know this is an old post, but, did you go back with the older style linkage? If so, were there any major design differences between the XRF and the Mopar units? I am holding off purchasing my third 08 steering kit because I was considering going back to the y-set up. James
