Need some advise on service for my truck..

Without making me look through my owners manual, need the following:
03 DRW 6 speed CTD.....96K
Rear end service, when and what fluid?
Manual tranny, when and what fluid?
I figure 100K, but just thought I would ask, mainly for the fluid.

I assume you have the AAM 11.5 axle in the rear. I use Mobil 1 75W90 gear oil and change it every 15K miles. Others on here use Royal Purple, Amsoil, and others with good results too. I am sure any GL-5 rated gear oil in 75w90 or 75W140 will work great.

Mine is an auto...so I can't help any with the 6 speed gear oils.

Redline oils are very good products.
www.myoilshop.com
just click on link above.
MTL for the transmission.
synthetic gear oil 75-90 for axles unless you tow real heavy 80-140.
Resonably priced.

I don't know about 03's but the 05's call for 15,000 miles service. Your axle and mine is the same and so is the 6 speed.

OK, the Amsoil website is a great website, very informative on change intervals and such, as well as describing it's product. I am going to check out the other website mentioned now......oh yeah, Amsoil recommends Rear Diff change intervals 50K for extreme usage or 100K for reg use with their fluids.

Well, the other website whcih offers Redline fluids is good stuff as well. A little more pricey then the Amsoil except for the Rear Diff fluid, Amsoil is more on that. I guess I am going to have to flip a coin and see what comes up with what, as both products seem to be of great quality, so....
