I've seen a lot of CR engines for sale on various boards, but it seems they are made of gold.....asking 6500 bucks and stuff.....

cuz i'm tired of killing motors with these crappy electronic injectors that are over priced and dont last. went thru 3 sets on the 03 on my second set on my 06. have 2 scored blocks and dropped valvles because of problems due to injector issues

i found the same motor you did on ebay but it has 53,000 miles on it. I'd like to find one with less miles on it if i can.

I see you're in Sugarland. There are tons of salvage yards in Houston. I was in one in Pasadena a year or so ago. There was a wrecked 1ton 05 or 06. Out of curiosity I asked how much for the motor. They said $4500. I know it probably is not there anymore, but it shows that there are some to be found. Plus salvage yards are fun. You never know what you might find in there.
