Need help with removing ABS sensor.

I need to replace the right front ABS sensor. I don't what to damage the connector. Does it take a special tool to remove the the connector? The connector has a red slide that I moved but it still does not want to come apart. Also I am happy to pay $100 for the new sensor as it warned me that front wheel and hub was about to fly off the truck.

No special tools req'd. You may need to depress a plastic goodie after moving the locking slide. But it comes apart easily enough. Pull it loose from the inner fender so you can get a good look at it.

BTW, your new hub should have come with an ABS sensor.

Thanks Jumper, I have the Dynatrac free spin hubs, so they don't come with the ABS sensor.
