Need help identifying source of leak

Please take a look at the picture below, which shows the top of my steering gearbox cover. As you can see, it appears that something is dripping on to it.

I'm pretty sure it's power steering fluid that's leaking - probably from the power steering pump or hose fittings? The leak may not be as bad as it looks - I cleaned off the cover and filled up the fluid resorvoir at least 8 months ago, and although the fluid level is lower, it is still in the "safe" area on the dipstick. I never see any puddles or dampness on the garage floor under my truck (granted it probably only leaks when the truck is running and the system is under pressure).

I'm still under warranty (couple more months), but I'm hesistant to bring it to the dealer because I have a DSS installed. It would be a pain to un-install it just to have the dealer look at the leak - which of course they may even tell me is normal. (I'm afraid they'll tell me the leak is my problem if I bring it in with the DSS installed)

So what I'm looking for is:
1) Does anyone know exactly where the leak is coming from?
2) is this bad enough that I NEED to have it fixed?
3) it seems that minor leaks in the power steering system are common for our trucks - is this the same thing most other people are seeing with their trucks?

Thanks for any input!!
