Started with a major miss at idle and no power when i give it some throttle. Put it on the scan tool and got #1 and # 5 injectors not firing. Changed all injectors... same problem but code changed to #4 injector not firing. Warrantied the injector put the new ( reman) injector in... same problem and code. Changed injector pump and lift pump... same problem same code. Found out the injection pump was faulty... warrantied that... same miss but no codes. Heres where it gets interesting. Hook up the snap on solus and individually dissable the injectors... #1 no change, #2 no change, #3 idle gets smoother when dissabled???, #4-6 idle gets rougher when dissabled. i checked all the wiring... seems to be in good condition(havent checked continuity at every connection and yes im avoiding the dredded short search). Checked valve lash, and compression... all good. no smoke of anykind nor is the oil level changing. I and just about every diesel mechanic i know are stummped. Please help!! Thanks

checked wrirng through head... continuity is good on all 6. reinspected the wires on the a/c compressor and the altenator and they appear to be intact and not damaged??? mechanic is telling me the ECU might be no good... i heard if the ECU is junk then the scan tools wont communicate with it?? is this true? I dont think its wiring but i will continue to scour the engine compartment until i find something. i really want to get her runnin good so i can blow her up myself!!! thanks again for the input
