My truck won't start

My 05 just turns over and will not start
Acts like its out of fuel, it has a full tank but
Guage shows empty and fuel light on
Any ideas would be great help
Thanks very much in advance

Bad pump? Not familiar but if you have an all in one fuel sending unit/pump it could have quit giving you empty signals and lack of pump?

Started up this morning like nothing ever happened
Fuel guage went straight to full. Sometimes fuel guage
rises to full slowly in steps. I wonder if it can make
a 6 hour trip if I leave it running , or be stranded on
I-40 with family

Maybe when you messed with it you inadvertently fixed it? Maybe a bad connection that's fixed?
