What's your MPG?
The accuracy may depend on how you drive it. Maybe the new meters are better now. Maybe people aren't calculating correctly. They may be inaccurate because it's just averaging a bunch of real-time measurements. In theory that should work, but maybe they don't sample the rate frequently enough. Maybe the measuring device isn't accurate in the first place.

My overhead is within .5mpg of hand calculated no matter how I drive or what I tow. I always top the tank to the filler neck each time to ensure the calculations are right.

I am pleased with mine as well. The reset **** if NOT pressed when you fill up will continue averaging from its existing average. My truck IS still stock however.

My overhead computer always reads less that what I calulate by hand. It is any where from 1-3.5 mpg on the lows side so its ok with me as I like it when I get better mpg then it shows.
