Any changes in mileage? Any codes trip without the kitty? Just curious. I have been thinking about getting rid of the kitty for some time. I need to be able to idle in the summer to keep my dogs cool while I stop for supplies and lunch occasionally.

Have not finished a tank full since the install. But I don't think that there is going to be much of an increase. As far as codes....none. The system is not a feedback type inwhich there is an oxygen sensor before and after the kitty like newer gassers can have. The kitty is there to lower emissions and just sits there like the 1980's gasser's kitties used to do. Removal of the kitty will not effect anything except emissions, exhaust temps and exhaust airflow. Remember I am still testing my kitty with a test pipe and the kitty should always be put back to satisfy fed. emission standards

My local shop CATCO has the 51 inch x 9 inch for $138. Give me a contact where you guys are getting the stuff. I can have it shipped here cheaper than what these guys are charging in Wisconsin.

exhaust

Just picked up my truck from having this same system installed. Night and day in sound quality. I really don't have a powerful sound anymore but the truck is so much quieter I don't care. I was used to my old Powerstroke with split dual 4 inch exhaust with 5 inch tips. It sounded good. This truck sounds like a quiet semi now. Big stick!

A local shop here has a nelson 51" 4" in 4" out ,10 inch diameter ..they want $76 for it...will the 10" fit?? I'm changing the turbo ,adding a 4" cast elbow(instead of 3 1/2 elbow ..it's an 03 quad s/b)... Somebody gave me a 4" down pipe but I'll have to add about 3 feet of pipe ( it was cut and only about 2 1/2 feet long)....so... will this all work without an offset? thanks

Where can you get the 51 nelson for $76. Give me a name and number. My shop wants $138. For that price I can pay to have it shipped to Wisconsin.
