mpg down to 13.5

my truck used to get around 18mpg and the mpg is way down. i used to get 13 while towing my tractor now it gets 8.5 it also has the slightest of slight hazes from the tailpipe after a long tow

my temps run past 210 when i tow or floor board it it never used to do that.

could it be the IAT? Bypass vavle? etc?

Not much help, but I'm experiencing the same thing. Repeatably got 16.5 mpg, and it's dropped to 12 empty, 9 - 10 towing, and I haze all the time when driving.

I'm guessing it's injectors...I plan to find out in the next couple weeks.

I recently cleaned my air filter and noticed that i started getting approximately 2 mpg better (hand calculated). It's worth a try

white and blueish smoke does lead me to believe it's an injector too

I know for gas vehicles its the use of "10% ethanol" that is really hurting fuel mileage. My wifes Magnum SRT8 went from 17.5 in town to 14.7.. Thats a big decrease!
I dont know if it was a mistake, but there was that same "10% Ethanol" sticker on the diesel pumps. Are they really putting ethanol into diesel now?

Mine started to haze this weekend while towing. Removed the SMARTY TNT program and it still see a slight white smoke, even at idle. Loaded the REVO program and will see what happens.

Update: Still does it. Poured in a healthy dose of Power Service and will see it can clean it out. Check the oil level and appears to be normal.

Guess there's going to be a set of Flux 1's in the near future if this doesn't fix it.
