Motor revs after I release throttle

When I rev up my motor, the motor still revs about a 1 or 2 seconds after I release the throttle. Maybe a bad sensor? Just wonding if anyone else has had this problem.

It is a software issue on the common rail some software is worse than other but most do it to some degree.

if its a software problem is there a fix for this? Or does everyones truck do this? Mine does it sometimes
