Hi, I cant seem to get a straight answer. According to my local dodge dealer this leveling kit comes with everything needed to complete the leveling. But it doesnt come with shocks. I thought all leveling kits for our 4x4 trucks had to come with a shock change. This mopar kit only comes with front and rear spacers (if people want to install in the rear to keep the rake). Has anyone of my furom buddies used this mopar kit? If so do you like it? Did it hurt the ride quality if new longer shocks werent used? When doning this install is a front end alignment required after install? Thank you

This leveling kit is a coil spacer type that raises the front of the truck 1 to 2 inches. Yes! this type does effect the ride quality a little and the alignment is recommended after installation. New coils and shocks are the best way to go if ride quality is a concern.

 

Thank you Dr. Have you ever heard of anyone using this particular kit? I know that you say the ride quality is hurt by using these spacers but I dont understand why? I plan to install ranch hand bumpers front and rear. I am thinking with the added weight of the bumper a little extra space is a good look. But I still dont understand why ride quality is affected but adding a spacer between the top of the coil to the mount?
