We've just moved to the KC area & I need to take the truck in to get the
CD player looked at, but I have a couple mods & either can't or don't want
to remove them to got to the dealer. Anyone know where I can go & won't
get spanked with drivetrain warranty issues?

Might try Weinberg Dodge in Grandview. I know one of their mechanics used to drive a 03-04 Dually with gauges and some mods. They told me that if you put a gauge in the manifold, only the manifold would not be ocvered for damage. Sounded reasonable to me.

You may also try Royal Dodge and Chrysler in Harrisonville. They installed my cab lights and did a great job. I told them I was going to put gages in and they told me to bring the kit in, let them look at it and they would give me a price for labor to install it. I ended up doing the gages myself because they weren't that hard. They also said if I changed the cold air intake or the exhaust that it would not affect the warranty. Now they may have a problem with chips or programmers I don't know because I didn't ask. You may want to call and feel them out but they seemed to be pretty easy going guys to me.

 

For now, we're in Platte City. It's about 25 miles north of KC.
