I have a 60gal RDS and when I fill up with 88 gals. I get 1300 straight HWY. 1300/88 = 14.8 (now that's at 80-85Mph!)

The one time I slowed down I got 1500 out of it going to Florida empty.
That's a flat 17mpg and being granny grumps. I simply can't do it so I live with the 13's and 14's.

More like 11 in town. 7 pulling a backhoe.
This is 04, 48re HPFP only.

Thumbs up

Just got back on a 433 mile trip to Durham NC checked gauge reading 1/2 tank. When I bought the truck it was stock and could only get 326 on 1/2 tank. Then the mods. began tone ring, torque tube baffle removed, 4" hole in bottom of cold air box with a K&N high vol. filter and the best mod you can do to a 2003 3500 so 48re srw QC with 373 is a Edge / Monitor (set on level 3). This is in the rolling hills of NC. not flat cow pastures of ? ps hot day ran air.

Since my level kit and 35" Toyo MT my mileage is really bad. Stop and go farm mileage is bad anyway, but dang 300 to 350 a tank.

Never beleive your fuel computer. I find that it is normaly off 5 to 7 MPG off reading higher than what you really get. Check your mileage to your fillup's.
Pulling a 48' flatbed I normaly get about 10.5 to 12.3 driving 70 to 75 mph. Never checked without the trailer as I just use my truck for business. If I reset the fuel computer without a trailer it say's 23/24 but like I said it's never correct with fuel used over miles driven.

05' Auto. Added Muffler Delete, 4" PVC in airbox, Amsoil drop in filter, replaced baffle tube with 5.5" aluminum, Quad Std on 60hp. I fill up at 1/4 tank which is usually 470 to 520 miles. I have not run below quarter.
