Ok.... I took the truck to a good A/C friend of mine where he recharged it and adv me that the freon was low, now my truck is an 06 Mega with 46k on the speedo, and is throwing the coldest air I have ever felt!!!

Question: Is it typical to recharge an A/C so soon?

 

Yes, I've been doing A/C work for years, and most new vehicles are 1/3rd under charged. My machine can measure ounces when evacuating a system, that's how I discovered this theory. I guess if they save 10oz., here and there , it adds up fast, and prevents overcharging the system which is far worse.
