Maiden voyage
Just took it on the first minitrip. Went from Owensboro to Louisville and back. I did about 10 miles of city driving here about the same in l'ville and the same here again. Round trip 250 miles 70+ mph. air cranked, cruise on, and some pretty good grades and got 19.2 woo hoo! my 360 gasser would have gotten 12-13 on the same trip. Best thing is i've only got 1000 miles on the truck so I know it will get better. I also didn't have my bed lid on that should also help a bit too. Deisels rule!

Congrats! Yup, your right. It does only get better. I am getting 21.7mpg driving around base to work and back, everyday. On the highway @ 70-75 mph I get around 20. Love the rig more every day.-Steve
