Lug thread?

Does anybody have any idea of what size and thread are on the wheel lugs? Is it metric or imperial?
I have tried a bunch of nuts on the lug but every one of them only go for half a turn and then stop.
I am guessing that it is 12 mm fine thread. Or maybe a fraction above 12 mm.

Thanks, but I don't need the lugs or the nut, just used this as an example of the thread size for a nut I require.

You are perfectly correct. Have considered buying one for years, but over the years have only had the need 2 or 3 times, so can't really justify it.

Dang, I could have sworn that they were metric as so much of the rest of the truck is metric. Having had two of you tell me this, now I can go out to see if I can find one nut of this size.

Problem solved. Tried many nuts and not one would screw on more than half a turn, so have to presume that every one of them were metric. Today I obtained a nut from work that screwed on perfectly. It is overkill for the job as it is an aircraft quality 12 point tension nut with a built in washer (large footprint) and an extremely good self locking device. (NAS spec) I can guarantee that this nut will not only never come loose, but will not fall off like the factory nut. Now I can drive with confidence again.
