Lots of CR problems, PLEASE HELP
Get the ECM/VIN reflashed, should end your problem as others have gone thru the same stuff and after the flash did not have any of it again. Not that all you have done isn't good, but just throwing money into parts will get old fast.

thanks for the advise friend!
problem is, no dealership in laredo texas, id have to drive to SNA to get the ECM reflashed,
is this something that i can do by removing the ecm, and just taking it to a dealership? or do i have to drive the truck up there?
i have no updates on it yet, so i cannot comment
and yes throwing money at it has gotten old and quick...

Alrighty then,
codes cleared, batteries installed, and wiring re went through yet again, grounds were cleaned and checked yet again... and finally the Fan clutch was replaced with an OEM unit, and this time it appears that the fan is working, no codes on the FC and no codes on Fan speed.. knock on wood. and no APPS sensor codes either.. No joke you can really hear when that sucker kicks on..... sounds like a small airplane takin off....
problem now is the trans is still acting up, starting out in second gear, lack of power, will not shift into first, or start out in first at all mind you..
truck just plain SUCKS to drive, even with a new TTVA in it...
codes? still the P1749 and P1754 in this case as per the key tries...
If im not mistaken, arent these the symptoms of the pressure solenoid and governer solenoid that are going out?
onward to do more research.. at least were on the way upward...
thanks!

tranny issues
TTVA motor has gone in, and nope, it has not helped any. Next step is to change out the pressure solenoid, governer solenoid, and readjust the bands on the trans.
they were just ordered.. so ill get it done within a few days... but at least were looking up...
Thanks

Well
i got the truck back today and it looks to be that everything has been fixed. All the wiring harness and electronics were gone through by my mechanic and there was a short in the system, i did miss a couple of grounds and some connections were dirty and faulty for that reason. Everything was gone through once again, and now for my records i have a diagram on how the FC works, and how its supposed to operate. IE the five prongs on the connector, as stated before.
I now have a better idea on how this CR is much more electronically based, and he was patient enough to show me and explain everything to me, i was there over an hour while he guided me through all that he and his staff did, They wire loomed everything, took care of the grounds, checked the batteries for voltage drop, cleared the DTC codes and even showed me that there were no codes present on the truck before i took it from the shop. that was to be expected, and i did learn alot in that hour he explained stuff to me.. All the computer connections were also cleaned out and re checked.. i give massive props to this gentleman and his staff for helpin to get my vehicle on the road.
Transmission was worked on next by a local shop, and after speakin to the person to, he was well aware of the issues with the dodge trans. I had all the bands adjusted, solenoids changed out, kick down band checked, and it turns out that my TTVA motor, the stock one, was good after all, i drove the truck home with the stock TTVA motor, and it drives like a different truck now, shifter shifts smoother, and truck feels more powerful, and much smoother shifting than before...
overheating? well not a bit, it just gets a little over the halfway spot and not much higher. .truck picks up to speed easily, and i can hear the FC kick on now (slightly) and its a good feeling.
i wanna thank all of you for helping me to get my truck back on the road. Yea it was a bit costly, and time consuming, but yall helped me learn more about it, and get it back to where it should be now.. and for that i cant thank you all enough
thanks again!
