Loss of power
I seems like my truck is losing power as of late and I am getting ready to take it into the dealership for them to check it out.
I am wondering how strong of a leg i have to stand on to push for warranty repairs if it comes back being a lift pump problem or injectors.
the truck has just under 40,000 miles so i am out of factory 36,000 mile warranty.
Is the lift pump covered by the drivetrain warranty? Will I still need to pay the deductible?
is there anything else that could cause the problem of losing power? I am running totally stock except for an Amsoil drop-in airfilter.
Thanks for you help in advance.

I get a little bit of white smoke on start up if it sits all day and over night and it doesn't last for more than a few seconds.....
I changed the fuel filter last week, and do so every 6000 miles.
