I have an 04 drw auto with about 113,000 miles. Lately it seems it doesnt feel as strong as before. I have a quad box, straight piped, bully dog filter, and using all amsoil for the engine and tranny fluids. Before on a slight roll, I would nail it and I was able to smoke the tires, now it just goes. I don't have any gauges on yet, I just ordered some. when i nail it seems like the rpm goes up but the truck doesnt do much, but feels fine when passing someone up. I hope it is something simple, maybe a lift pump, or tranny rebuild. How can I tell if tranny or converter are bad? How can I tap into the fuel system to check pressure?
