I Have A 2006 Dodge 2500 5.9dsl 6speed.after An Update For Turbo Protection At A Dodge Dealer.ihave Lost Horsepower.has Anybody Else Seen This Problem.

 

Never heard of an update for turbo protection on an 06', ever. We need more info, like what was the flash number they did. Do you have a set of gauges on the truck to check boost pressure before and after? Without that gauge and a before and after, it is hard to say if what they told you is true. Some folks at the dealer don't know squat. Why did they even do the update????

 

The actual update was for turbo,a/c clunk and clutch durability.TSB 18-005-06. No Gauges. Updated for a/c clunk.

 

sounds like a way for dodge to avoid the dual mass from falling apart by lowering the torque?

 

Agreed, that DM flywheel is junk.
