loose & sloppy steering fix?

Is there any way to help clean up the steering on these trucks? It seems to wander more than I am used to and is pretty loose. My first thought is a better steering stabilizer.

Thanks in advance

There is a steering brace for the trucks....stiffens up the actual steering box....

BD DIESEL STEERING BOX STABILIZER, POWDERCOATED BLACK -- Includes high-strength mounting hardware and instructions; This stabilizer eliminates steering wander and wobble caused by excessive shaft play in the steering box; Provides a more positive steering feel by nullifying frame flex at the steering box mounting point; Powdercoated for rust and corrosion resistance; Features a greasable, high quality bearing for reliable operation; Designed for an easy, bolt-in installation; With BD Diesel's limited 12-month or 24,000-mile warranty.

Fill out your sig so we can see what your truck is and help you better.

Loose steering can be a few things, does it wander? Hold a line well or not? Follow grooves or ruts? Shake? Center itself after a turn?

Most likely worn ball joints. Common issue.
