Loose 6 speed shifter

How many with the NV 5600 have noticed the shifter having side to side slack in 4th gear? Anybody know what causes this condition?

Mine's been like that since new, and only 4th gear.

Not here. But then again, I don't spend all that much time driving it in 4th, much less wiggling it.

Mine has had slack since the day I got it. I have some movement in every gear.

Haven't noticed that, but the **** has rotated 180 degrees in 7k miles.....and it won't turn back!

the **** hasn't turned one bit, the insert for the shift pattern has... you can pry it out with a small screwdriver and reposition it with some silicone under it to hold it in place...
