local dealer
A friend of mine took his 2004 Dodge into the local Dodge dealer to have problems with auto trans problem and hard starting. They tell him the trans problem is a solenoid 300 dollars to fix and the hard starting problem is caused by contaminated fuel causing damage to pump and inj. To replace the inj, pump and flush fuel system is going to cost 12000 dollars. Plus no warranty. Its crazy how these dealers try to rip people off
I think dealers are really trying to push warranty work off on to contaminated fuel. Dodge offers a lifetime warranty and then if you have a sticker in your back window that says edge they void your warranty. Crappy dealer service is the reason I will not buy a new dodge again. 12,000 dollars is insane though.
