Limited Slip... True Trac... Locker... Diff

My truck came w/o limited slip, etc. - What option do I have?

A local company emailed me:
"There is no "locker" or true "LSD" available for the rear of your truck. A stock option that was available from the manufacture for your truck is a Torsen differential. Detroit makes an aftermarket True Trac which is much like the Torsen They are torque sensing differentials. Your cost from us for this devise would be around 650.00. Installation would be 280.00. Oil and other supplies 70.00.

For the front and Locker would run about 725.00. A True Trac would run 525.00. You would need to call about labor for the front. There are many details that we would need to discuss."

I see a add in Diesel Power this month on page 38
advertising an AAM1150 locker for our trucks.

The factory LS is pretty good for the rear, if your asking about the front ARB all the way

That's a spool, not a locker.

Driving manners on the street will be very bad.

so I assume I can "just" order it from Dodge (for high $$$) and have it installed, right?

Is it really a torseon diff?
