the lift pump have been issues on the 2nd generation CTD. have the problems been corrected for the 2003 and 2004 models, or are the pumps still a problem? did CTD go to a new more dependable pump for '03 & '04?

there have been some issues but nothing like the older ones yet. It is still a potential design problem but most of the truck are still relatively new. Some people who have upped the HP have seen similar issues as the older unit. And the fixes seem to be the same. I have seen posts where people say a substantial gain was obtained just by a line and fitting change but have not heard/read anything recently.
