level or not to level
There's nothing wrong with leveling your truck...it's less aftermarket parts to break then lifting, looks good, etc...all depends on your taste. There are lots of folks in here with leveled trucks that are just gorgeous. Now if you tow heavy regularly, you might want to steer clear, just because you will get more sag...but do what you want, it's your truck!
I bought a DayStar 1.5 inch spacer kit and installed it this weekend. It only raised the front about 1inch - kinda disappointed. The side benefit is that it seems to ride a little better over sharp bumps than it did before.
Thinking about doing the same mod.Did you have to use different front shocks or are the oem shocks ok?
I have the two inch Daystar leveling kit on my 2004 3500 2 wd dually. I put it on in January when I installed the 22.5 Alcoas. I don't tow heavy, only about 6000 lb show car trailer, so it sits level with no sag. I have been very happy with the new look. It is taller than a stock 2wd, but does not look like a monster truck.
