level or not to level

want to level the front of my 04 2500 2wd lb, is this ok or should i stay away from this mod? Thanks for your input.

There's nothing wrong with leveling your truck...it's less aftermarket parts to break then lifting, looks good, etc...all depends on your taste. There are lots of folks in here with leveled trucks that are just gorgeous. Now if you tow heavy regularly, you might want to steer clear, just because you will get more sag...but do what you want, it's your truck!

level it! just get a nice kit.

I bought a DayStar 1.5 inch spacer kit and installed it this weekend. It only raised the front about 1inch - kinda disappointed. The side benefit is that it seems to ride a little better over sharp bumps than it did before.

Thinking about doing the same mod.Did you have to use different front shocks or are the oem shocks ok?

I have the two inch Daystar leveling kit on my 2004 3500 2 wd dually. I put it on in January when I installed the 22.5 Alcoas. I don't tow heavy, only about 6000 lb show car trailer, so it sits level with no sag. I have been very happy with the new look. It is taller than a stock 2wd, but does not look like a monster truck. Pics in gallery.

I used the stock shocks with the 1.5 inch kit. I heard that with anything larger you need new front shocks and could have problem with alignment. I am taking mine in this weekend to have the alignment checked

Level it and add Bilstein shocks. 2 Best Bangs for the Buck. I used the kit from Jack it. www.jackit.com/ Had the kit on my 04 and now have one on the 06.

I didn't see anything about Dodge on that site. Are the prices pretty reasonable?

Nevermind. I found it. I'm an idiot!
