my truck was leaking a ton of oil out of the oil breather tube and my oil pressure was dropping, got the truck to the dealer, they said they were going to replace ther engine, they said it is probably a damaged ring or piston or cylinder wall, what do you guys think what could have caused this, i have an afe stage 2 air filter and mbrp exhaust, diablo power puck that i never turnerd passed the 60 hp setting, thanks

 

Did the oil have the smell of diesel? Was the oil level much higher than normal? If so you have a cracked injector(s).

yea the oil had the smell of diesel, i think the oil level was higher when i checked but the truck was still hot so i cant say for sure,

You did remove the puck before taking in right??

 

o of course i did,

 

they can still determin if it was chipped or not if they run thru the ecm and check fuel to run time info . dodge is getting real cautious
