Leaking at freezing temps

My truck has sat out the last few nights and it has been freezing in our part of the country. Until now the truck has never sat outside long enough to freeze I don't believe. When I look out on the driveway the past couple mornings there is a 12" puddle of what appears to be water. There is no color to the fluid just a bit of slippery quality compared to water. Looking up form under the truck it is coming down the right side fo the engine block then onto the tranny housing then the ground. Not sure if the slippery quality is just a bit of grime it is picking up after running down the engine or what. It is not the normal location for the AC condenser run off and I have not been running the defrost or AC obviously. Any thought from anyone would be of great help!!!!

Not sure what year your truck is? On my 06 there is a small rubber bypass hose under the exhaust manifold, you can see it if you look through the passenger side wheel well. The clamps were loose and leaking coolant exactly as you described. 5 minutes and a 5/16 socket and the problem was cured.

That would be exactly what I would say.

My 06 did that, too. I couldn't tell where it was coming from, but searched for coolant dripping from the bellhousing and found a thread about those hose clamps...

Check to make sure it's not leaking from the block heater. On the right hand side near the oil filter. May need to be tightened.

'06 mega cab here so it sounds like a likely suspect. 3" of snow last night here os after it melts off I will check the hose as people recommended. Doesn't look like coolant in color but does have that slippery quality. Thanks for the words of wisdom!
