all the Mega's have the rear 2 peice drive shaft,

and my mega has a "wooga wooga" when you take off, and a moderately loud roar from 68~70mph. there is a TSB out for that.

so being lazy, and not trusting the dealer, I put two HUGE washers over the carrier bearing, to lower it a bit.

that cured the 70mph Drone (moved it to ~55mph and much quieter, and hey, who drives 55 anyways?)

but it left a tad of launch shudder.

took it to dealership to day to get the HVAC doors rebuilt,
printed out the shudder TSB and took it in.
and they said the TSB was not applicable to my truck,
body code D1b is it, and mine is D1c or some such.

and they took OUT my washers, since the TSB doesn't apply to my truck.

*&^%#$# idiots. why would I put them in if it did not need them?

just because some bean-counter at DC don't want to pay for my Mega not to shake & moan doesn't mean it doesn't!!

i hope they don't throw the washers away. they are hard to find in that size.
