No it wont hurt a thing. We blend kerosene with #2 diesel for winter blend diesel at the loading rack. Depending on how cold the area is where the diesel is going as to what the blend is.

If it were me, I wouldn't dump the whole 5 gallons in at once.

Maybe 1-2 gallons per tankful.

The whole 5 probably wouldn't hurt anything, but better safe then sorry.

No problem. Maybe dump it in at the gas station, then top the truck off to stir everything up real nice.

Off- road diesel is the exact same thing , except for the stuff they put in it to catch you . There is a dye or something in the fuel that turns a test rod a different color . You don't pay any taxes on off-road diesel , thats why it is so cheap . DO NOT let the I.C.C. catch you $$$$ . I drive a Peterbuilt for a living , and have been stoped on many occasions for them to test . It only takes a cup or so to be detected in a 150 gal. tank ! You could get away with it with a slim chance of being caught , but its a big risk . Just never try and pump it directly into your truck , you will be reported .

wow, didnt know that a cup could get you detected in that many gallons... ****...

Only reason i ask is cuz i have a 800 gallon tank in my back yard that i use to refuel all my construction equipment :/ would be sooo nice to chop my fuel prices for my truck in half

also... i always thought off road diesel was not as pure... it has more sulfur and such i thought? being more lubracating?
I always thought it was :/

Used to be, years ago.

Nowdays it is the exact same stuff, just has the chemical dye in it.

It's not the sulphur that lubricates, but the process to remove the sulphur also removes lubricating properties.
Sulphur I know is the consistency of talcum powder, maybe more coarse, very non lubricating.
