Just a thought for guys that tow and want a leveled truck

What it you installed a leaf spring that would make the truck level when you had you were trailering, but without the load the back end was higher. Now could you not put ratchet tie downs around the rear axil to make the truck level in the rear? Sorry if it sounds stupid, I'm just trying to think outside the box....

I can see what you're trying to say in my mind, and theoretically it seems plausible but no. NO, NO, NO

the only good alternative to this is airbags or some stiff overload springs
