just broke down on freeway
Sounds like you have an injector body crack. This floods the engine full of diesel and eventually out the breather tube.
Are you running a pressure box?
Easy diagnoses is to pull the valve cover, stand back, and crank the truck to see which one is spraying everywhere. Be very careful, the fuel is coming out at idle at 5000-7000 psi. It will do some damage.

my buddy called and he is not able to make it tonight. Yes iam running home made ram air with k@n aero muffler no cat a quad race box plus f1s two fuel filters from vulcan i run the quad on 3 or 4 and i do not get on the go pedal very hard it cost to much. also just put in a new vb.
Sence there were no unusuall noise from the engine, hope it is OK. I had the same happen at work and I caught it by the oil pressure dropping. Took it to the mechanics and crank case was full of diesel. Only this Cummins 5.9 has 6 gallons of oil in crankcase. The engine is still running 3 years later.
okay I am going to fill this thing back up with oil and take the valve cover of and see what happens any input before I do this would greatly help I think I am assuming just barely turning it over will give me the 1 that has a problem thanks again for any help .
The Quad race box does up your rail pressure and even more so than the standard Box. This is the culprit of your cracked body. Run the box on the lower settings and get a Smarty Jr. When I use pressure it is very sparingly. Only on setting one or 2. From what I remember the standard box would do 24K psi and the race would do a max of 26K..... You would have to do a search for the exact numbers.
