ISSPRO guages

has anyone installed the ISSPRO guages? and how do you like them? I have a lot of trouble with autometer egt guages, and I would like to get a good set. and will the egt probe and wiring work with their guage?

I have the isspro egt gauge, it was a easy install and like it real well. I had a set of dipricol gauges in my other truck and like this isspro gauge just as well. Seems to be a well built gauge. The egt lead wire should work, but I don't know. I would think that they would all be the same.

I have ISSPRO gauges as well. I have pictures on my Gallery. Only had one problem with the transmission temperature gauge. The temperature would go all over the place. From 100* to 200* just driving around town. I would stop and feel the dip stick just to make sure. But I called Dieselmanor and they sent me a new set under warranty and all is well. He told me the probe has to be calibrated with the gauge on the transmission temperature. I did not ask about the EGT.

I have them and like them also. I bought mine from
http://www.dieselmanor.com/gauges/ga...dge-isspro.asp

and was very pleased not only with the service from them but the quality of the product is good. Mine work good and look good. I have pics in my gallery of mine. The kit from Diesel Manor comes with literally everything you could possibly need to install with exception to drill bits and hand tools.

add me to the list for dieselmanor. if you have any questions call them and they are very helpful and informative. but do forget about checking out some of the vendors on this site too.

The gauges work well in my 95. The only complaint I have is the lighting of the gauges. Instead of being back lit like your factory dash gauges with transparent dashes and numbers. They are back lit and the light comes around the edges of the dial instead of having transparent dashes and numbers. This means I have to run my dash lights a little brighter then I like to see my gauges on dark nights.

Like I said a minor gripe.

*EDIT*

Sorry, I just ran out to check what gauges I had. I have the Auto Meter Pro-Comp. I checked this out after I looked at the links to the Diesel Manor ISSPRO gauges. Now I am wishing I got the ISSPRO gauges. =)

What I did to stop the light from creeping around the dial was get pinstripe tape at an auto parts store. Get 1 roll 1/4" wide (black). Then I wrapped the 1/4" wide tape around the dial (once) with the edge as close to the gasket as possible. It locked the dial in nice and stopped the light from leaking. It took a little trial & error but I also hated the light leakage. (Dieselmanor helped me with that one, good group).
