Interior Light/Dome Light Malfunctioning...Help!

I've been noticing that my dome light goes off about 10 seconds after I open the door. Not sure how long this has been going on, but I KNOW that it wasn't doing it when the truck was new. Even if you have the door open and manually turn the light on. It goes out after about 10 seconds. You can just slightly move the dimmer wheel in any direction and it comes back on. I read the owners manual, can't find anything about programming different delay times. I assume that all these functions are being controlled by the BCM. Is therea way to reprogram it, or am I headed to the dealer???? THanks...

There is a flash update for that as well. Need to have the dealer do it. Hopefully it is under warranty.

Mine was doing this after I installed the Predator. I took the predator off and the lights still turned out after 10 seconds. I disconected both batteries for about 10 minutes and it fixed the problem and has not done it since.

yeah... its under warranty. Truck only has about 17000 miles. No mods, and I bought the truck from the dealer that Im taking it to. I was gonna disconnect the batteries and see if it would reset, but I really want the problem resolved, not just delayed... Talked to the service manager this morning and he made mention of it possibly needing flashed. Not sure why it has just started though..... F.M. technology?????????? Note: mechanics reading that last statement will know what F.M. technology is....
Thanks for all the replies...
