Installed the Trans Go kit......

Got the Trans Go shift kit installed and here are my impressions so far:

-shifts are definately more positive both upshifts and downshifts
-had all of the bands adjusted so my 2-3 shift is proper again
-installed the deep trans pan too
-the low speed shuttle shift from 1-2 is still there though

Will drive it around some and see what else I notice. The trans shop wanted me to put some miles it so the computer can learn the changes. Will report back what it does.

Oh yeah, I forgot, the acceleration is much much better now. As long as I am at 1/4 throttle or higher, it just screams through the gears . If I am under 1/4 throttle, it will shuttle shift 1-2 shift.

I put the Transgo kit in my stock 05 and what a difference.......it totally rocks.
I had the shuttle shift at first as well until I put the gold spacer in the part throttle body, and I turned the screw for the TV stop 1 1/2 turns as well because it was upshifting a little early at light throttle.
It shifts perfect now, nice firm but smooth shifts with no 1 -2 shuttle ever.

The gold spacer comes in the Transgo kit. The instructions say to install it if the truck uses a throttle motor on the side of the trans(05 and up) and the truck is equiped with an engine power chip or programmer.
My truck is all stock and it works better with the spacer installed.

The Throttle Valve stop screw has a torx button head and limits the amount the TV valve can travel out. Turning it in a little will raise the rpm for the light throttle shifts. Sorry, I don't have a picture.

Gold spacer is installed on mine also. Still shuttling at very slow speed with minimal throttle though. Otherwise, I really, really like the kit. It has changed the character of the trans completely.

Have you ever changed the governor solenoid and transducer?

Not sure what tranny the '07 has, but i had the 1-2 shift hunt also and thanks to the help on this site, I was told about the Dodge "RE" Governor Solenoid to GM Pressure Control Solenoid Conversion Kit. I installed it 2 weeks ago and the hunt is gone! Check out:

http://www.transmissioncenter.net/dodge.htm

It is a long page - and it is about 3/4 of the way down or you can ctrl+f for "9-25-2008"

This kit sounds really interesting. But, I'm assuming it would nullify my 70k drive train warranty (at least for the trans), right?

What is the typical cost of the Transgo Kit? And also the best place to purchase one?

Thanks in advance!

Trans-Go kit usually runs for around $70 shipped and I got mine off of ebay for a little under that shipped to my door.
