Injectors going out one by one
I have a stock 06 3500 6 speed bought dec 05 other than normal mait. and a mistake on my part on tire size on front and rear the truck has been great. in 2010 right before the 5 / 60 went out #2 injector went out they said elc.side went bad so they put a new one in ,well 2 weeks ago truck was having same problems hard start and stubbing on take off and while idleing bade valve raddle, went to a place that is suppost to be very good with 3/4 and 1 ton dodges and the other two.thats all they work on they put the computer on my truck and found #2 injector was not up to snuff was at 81 so he said he would put one in and see what happens well they did and he call me and said while they were test driving it that it was running bad on to way back to the shop said they found #5 injector bad so it was replaced.well i pad my $ 2149.00 and brought it home ran good all the way home untill i got here as i was backing it in it started again took it for a ride and it running just as bad as before.should after i take it to them and it turns out that its another injector replace the other 4 or what should i do this truck has 65000 miles on it oil & filter

$2149 for 2 injectors installed, I'd get a second opinion (and a lawyer
)
makes you wonder if they were not finding or changing the bad one the whole time?
them injectors on the high side cost them $380 at the most, unless they got them from a Dodge dealer which is not a good choice, they charged you way too much for 2 injectors installed

Yeah.....they ripped you off big time!!!!! Replacing 1 or 2 injectors is only a band-aid on these trucks. It's a snowball effect. Injector problems=replace all six!!
Do you ever get it out and get it working? I mean HOT? Like towing 10,000 pounds up a mountain pass at 30lbs of boost and wide open with 1200* EGT's?
My truck runs so much better after I tow a heavy load, it's like a new truck. These engines are made to be used.
If you still have problems take it to someone that wont over charge you & have them take out all six & check them. If you have tools they aren't hard to take out. It cost me $35 each to have mine checked. If you take them out be sure to take them to a good diesel shop that has the right machine to test them. Good luck
