How much injector rattle should I be hearing on the 3rd Gen's? I know it is a diesel and all just that mine seems to be a bit louder than others.

 

Mine 06 has very little @ stock setting. On level 3 on Quad Race it rattles more than I like, but mainly on hard acceleration. Maybe a tech or hot rodder will chime in, but in my experience it is the quietest diesel I have ever owned. I would like to hear and drive a 6.7. Maybe if I can outlive my truck they will be light years ahead with the DPF and EGR when we need one.
