Injector puller?
Injector puller?
Where do you guys buy these at? I can't get one locally from O'Reilly's and the other parts stores. Do you think that the Cummins place in Tulsa would keep them in stock?
Are there any other ways to pull injectors without the special tool?

Yeah I pull them with my hands.
Seriously though you dont need one.
Just make sure to pull the high pressure connectors out then use a screw driver to wedge/pop them up after you remove the retainer bolts.
Very simple. I have done it hundreds of times. Dont let anyone tell you need those tools because its just not true.

What PD said. I have done several sets and all I used was my hands and a screwdriver. There is no need to spend any money on a puller.
A 12v needs a puller, but there is a way around that. If you get a piece of 3/4" pipe and cut it 1 1/4" long and take one of the lugnuts off the truck, it makes a great puller. I know you don't need to pull any 12v injectors, but someone reading this might. There are pictures in my gallery of my 12v puller.
I hope that you don't see this as hijacking your thread, but it might help another member.

Note to self: a word that I was allowed to use in kindergarten, is not allowed to be used on DTR.
I sure wish there was a list of the bad words, that way I would know which ones cross the line.
