Injector failure thread...

I'd like to start a thread to see who has had injector failure, especially in 05's (which I believe are more likely to have this problem).
If there is someway we can gather this info, inorder to see a reoccuring pattern, I'd appreciate your help.
Something like the horsepower thread.
A- Those who've had a failure w/ no mods and no heavy towing
B- Those who've had a failure w/ no mods but very heavy towing
C- Those who've had failure w/ mods (especially pressure boxes) w/ no towing
D- Those who've had failure w/ mods and towing
E- No problems (so far)
Please enter mileage that problems occured and if fix (new injectors) has worked, and what other issues you've had due to the failure (lost turbo, etc.)

I think you guys see where I'm going with this. This problem of injectors cracking or tips breaking off, is unacceptable to me. I haven't had a problem yet, but the thought of it is very worrying.
Everyone, please give their problems without opinions (if possible)
Thanks...

E- No Problems so far. 31,500 miles with about 5k towing, I use Power Service+MMO in my '04.5 religiously. So far, so good!

Just curious, why do you think the 05's are more prone to failure? Did DC change the injector design in the 05's, or some other parameter that would affect injector reliability?

I believe they did change something on the 04.5's or 05's and up. I think it's a different injector with less injection orifices... or something like that...
I'm sure someone with more knowledge about the subject will chime in here.

E. No problems at 9k. I use PS/MMO every tank, occassional heavy pulls.

I would not accept the extended idle excuse the dealer is giving. I do not see anything in the owners manual that states you can not idle your truck. I know my idle time is up from sitting in traffic everyday. It's unavoidable.

i filled my crankcase also and it started coming out of the blow-by tube and covered my truck. Tech told me that it gave the inside of the engine a good cleaning and i shouldnt have to worry about anything rusting underneath it for a while with everything soaked in diesel and oil. when i pulled the dipstick it was so clear i almost couldnt see anything at all on it (straight diesel)!!

D- The most recent one filled the crankcase full of fuel and blew oil/fuel all under the truck all the way to the tailgate, there must have been gallons of fuel in the oil pan, good thing I wasn't towing at the time....mileage was somewhere in the neighborhood of 40K.

E. No problems. Mods in sig. I run it like it is stolen though and have had most mods on since new 0 miles. I have run PS/MMO in tank since about 4000 miles and I have 16000 on it now.
