individual injector studs wiring

What's does one stud/wire do compared to the other stud??

I mean if you put wires on backwards?? Just wondering!

You would think it would work backwards as far as being open when supposed to be closed and closed when supposed to be firing. I think this would be very bad but it will most likely throw a code first.

i cut one open to see why it failed, the way it is built it will make no difference if the wires are reversed. incidentally the reason for a solenoid failure is a design flaw on how the coil is attached to the post, i was lucky enough to cut it into at the point of failure to see it. you can replace the solenoid in about 5 minutes without removing the injector
