well.....i've decided im gonna go ahead and take the truck in and get a couple little things looked at while i can easy enough (nothing on the books early next week)

my A/C, like y'alls has been doing the warmer on the passenger side thing. after reading 800 bucks for blend doors, etc, i figured id do it while i still have plenty of warranty left

the other thing is the intermittent long crank time. its seeming to get worse now that its hotter here. i asked to talk to the service manager and he seemed put off that i was taking his time. i told him i just wanted to make sure they were competent with diesels becasue i dont trust alot of the dealers. after a few minutes he warmed u pand said he wasnt aware of a flash for the long crank time but he would check a few things in the fuel system and he had seen quite a few with that issue.

Ive got about a quart of black diesel in there so i hope they dont try to blame it on the fuel. my filter has ~1000 miles on it so we'll see/ since none of yall have had the problem cured, im more concerned with gettting the doggone AC squared away. He assured me hed get it back to me in 2 days. i told him that i absoutely needed it back by friday becasue i had jobs to do and cant afford to be without. sooo..next monday its going in. standby for feedback on the dealer in Boerne, TX. hopefully ill have goodnews.
