Is there any aftermarket product available to make the Cummins 600 slightly louder. I know most people complained about how loud the 2nd generation engine used to be but I like that sound. OK, so I wouldn't want it that loud, but a little extra volume would be nice.

 

There isn't anything to restore the fuel injection clatter, but you could install an aftermarket muffler. If you're going to do a muffler, do it before the muffler rusts itself on solid.

 

Put some miles on it.. Mine is much louder now at 29,000 miles than when it was new. Nowhere near the 1st or 2nd gens, but louder nontheless.......

 

You alwas trade it in for a Ferd or Cheby
