I just bought a 2003 Dodge 3500 it has a lot of mods I am trying to figure out if it has the factory turbo or not from the front all I can see is Holest 3 it boost to about 45psi (what does a factory turbo boost to) I think that is kind of high for factory so far from what I can tell is it has an after market exhaust manifold, smarty chip, fass fuel system, pacbrake & ? I appriciate any help, this is my first dodge THANKS

not sure what it says on a 03 factory turbo, but it should wastegate at 20 or 22 pounds, stock, up to 30 or so with a boost elbow. 44psi will kill a stock turbo, but is fine for most aftermarket turbos

If its boosting 45psi and its the stock turbo you will have problems eventually, the safe limit is 35psi. You may have a different turbo, but I don't think it'll have holset on it.

If your thinking of the big shiny red intake horn that says banks on it, thats the wrong elbow,

there should be a little brass elbow, on the turbo, with a 1/4 inch rubber hose running from it. On that plug ther is a small hex screw, out=less boost, in=more boost (iirc)
