I smell paper burning

Anyone smell burning paper after running their exhaust brake?
Can't smell it in the cab but when I get out I do.

Sometimes I get a whiff of something odd if I have the brake on at idle warming up in the winter. I don't know if it smells like paper or not but what ever it is, been doing it for years with no problems.
