I know, another oil question
well its time to change the diif oils. From reading the forums i feel i want to change over to synthetic. I know the what i`m supposed to put in there, but is there a favorite brand out there(i know, i opened a can of worms
) just wondering if some synthetics are reguarded higher than others.
Now all i need is some warm weather , so i can get under her and take care of this

I'm sure you are aware that you already have synthetic in your diffs, they ship that way. As far as prefered syn fluid, the local favorite is Amsoil. Others like Royal Purple and Redline as well. If you go with a quality fluid like the above, you can't go wrong.-Steve
Just changed mine out this weekend with AMSOIL Series 2000 75-90w oil at 6800 miles on truck... I ordered 8 quarts just to be safe.. It took right at 4 quarts in the rear almost 3 quarts up front....
Good Luck
Good Luck
I've got a case of amsoil series 2000 75w90 sitting here waiting for 15k to roll around. Also a case of synthetic amsoil ATF waiiting for 30k. I think because it's so easy I'll change the xfer case every 15k too
