Angry I gotta kick this oily horse again!

'Cuz I am ticked. Had some idle time the other day so pulled out my '04 manual just to make sure the procedures were the same as for the '03. Turns out that (in Canada anyways ) the oil change interval is 3750 miles for sched 'B' and 7500 for 'A'. My '03 was 7500 miles for sched 'A'. what the heck happened??? And no, there is no black diamond or anything else saying otherwise!!!!!!! Gonna have a chat with the dealer tomorrow.

Ya my owners manual says the same. I dont think they changed the owners manual for the 1/2 model year. They will probobly change it for the 05s. My 98.5 24 valve was the same way. The owners manual was for a 12 valve.

I read my manual the same way. You have to turn it upside down and backwards, then read it.

My 04.0 manual has diamonds and crosses. The diamonds are for HO and crosses for SO. The SO maintenance is 6000km schedule B, the HO maintenance is 12000km schedule B.

I'm doing my first change this week at 5000 miles, just because it's free.
After that I'll do my own, closer to 7500 miles I guess.

Save yourself the trouble and change it every 6000 miles regardless.

Why change it at all. I just change the filter at that time and then send in a sample. If it's good then I don't care. I do change the By-Pass filter maybe 2 times a year

Hmmm surprised some here have not said that even 3750 is way too long for oil...
Change it at the later interval and have it sampled.

Sory my bad. I went back and looked at it again. It is the 7500/15000 that it should be. It does not say specificly that it is for the 325 but list those numbers for the 305 version. So I gues Ill asume that that would also include the 325 version. My old 98.5 24 valve truck however was for the 98.0 12 valve engine. I dont know however if there was a suplimental insert that I dident get because I bought the truck used.

I made the same assumption, that it would be the same as my '03, but nooooooo! I'm still gonna go with the extended interval ... yadda yadda yadda
